When visitors arrive on your website, they read certain articles, interact with various widgets, favourite certain products or click on various content. This activity tells you something about the wants and needs of each particular visitor.

Wouldn’t it be great if you could send a discount coupon to that user that has looked at particular shoe 5 times?

Wouldn’t a loyal user that already made 3 purchased enjoy a 10% coupon?

Why not show new travel options to a user that regularly flies between New York and London?

All the above can be sent directly to the desktop or mobile of your user by defining a certain audience within our Segmentation feature.

By using our JavaScript SDK, you can easily define exactly what actions you are tracking on your website and later user this info to define Segments for your audience. Segments consist of multiple filters or rules that are applied to the events tracked, so fully narrow down your target.

For example: let’s say that you want to send a push notification to people that visited the pricing page of your SaaS 2 times within the last 14 days but did not sign up. The segment for this would contain the following filters:

In the above example, A, B and C are filters and together they form a segment that contains a total of 144 users. At this point, Push Monkey allows you to send a custom push notification to these 144 users.

For more advanced examples, as well as How To’s and JavaScript SDK references head to our ever-growing documentation.

Note: These events are tracked for visitors today onwards for new subscribers only. Existing subscribers can not be tracked.
